Animal Communication
Lisa Shaw
Animal Communicator Nominee
Lisa has an M.F.A. in creative writing and an M.A. in Pastoral Ministries with a concentration in loss and healing and has trained as a hospice chaplain. Her spiritual work is largely devoted to animals and their relationships with their human caretakers.
A clairvoyant, Lisa receives animals’ thoughts as images and becomes the channel between the human and animal, facilitating conversation, helping to solve behavioral mysteries, identify hidden traumas, and detect physical imbalances which can eventually manifest as illness.
She has been successful in identifying locations of lost animals by tuning in to the animals who give her almost photographic images of their surroundings or the path they have taken to get there.
In the 1990s, she began to attract people whose animals were approaching their transition.
They sought her out to communicate with them to verify whether the time was right, and the animals were ready to complete their earthly journey. This led Lisa to pursue a second graduate degree in pastoral ministries, concentrating on loss and healing, and she expanded her work with dying animals to train as a hospice chaplain. What she has learned through her work with end-of-life issues is that our animals hold a naturalistic view of the life cycle and know instinctively that the physical world is by no means the end of existence.
We learn from the animals how to transition gracefully, how to remove the thin veil that separates the physical from the spiritual.
Her work has been featured on national and television, on radio, and in print. Since 2010 she has been conducting a weekly international online Animal Reiki Circle.
